Parmigiana

Mangiafuoco for an Italian one-dish queen: Parmigiana, a timeless recipe!

Ingredients for 8 servings:

 - Eggplants 600g

- Tomato sauce 600g

- Mozzarella 250g

- Grated Parmesan 80g

- Fine salt to taste

- Coarse salt to taste

- Basil to taste

- Extra virgin olive oil to taste

Preparation

Cut the eggplants into thin slices. Season with coarse salt and drain the water in a perforated container. Grill the eggplants on both sides.
Arrange a layer of eggplants on a "FAN FOR FOOD (Fontana)" and top with tomato sauce, mozzarella slices, grated cheese, and basil leaves to create 5 layers.
Set the oven temperature to 180°C and bake for about 25 minutes.
Oven temperature: 180°
Time: 25 minutes
The Parmigiana is now ready to serve!
