Backhaus Bofa: nature-inspired bread baking courses
Ratgeber Fontana, Brotbackkurs
At Backhaus Bofa, traditional bread baking is embraced. A few natural ingredients meet selected refinements from the on-site herb garden. Sabine Wittwer lives her dream here, supported by the whole family. And right in the middle is a Fontana Gusto. The indirect wood-fired oven is a true all-rounder and the perfect choice for a bakehouse. Sabine agrees: "The Gusto fits perfectly with us," she says.
Above the beautiful Paternen in the Montafon is the Backhaus Bofa, a family heirloom that has been lovingly expanded and also features guest rooms. There are bread baking courses in small groups, and for groups of 8 or more, course dates are available on request, also with overnight stays. For those interested in the Fontana Gusto, Sabine Wittwer offers to demonstrate the oven.
The Fontana Gusto comes from the traditional Fontana Forni manufacture in Italy, which has been producing wood-fired ovens for discerning private customers for generations. As a traditional bakehouse with indirect wood firing, almost anything can be baked and cooked in the Gusto: bread, cakes, pizza, casseroles, and stews. Fontana offers many features: convection, thermometer, various accessories. A traditional bakehouse in a modern form.
