Bernardi Dough Kneaders - The Right Choice for Home
Bernardi Impastrici is a leader when it comes to professional and semi-professional dough kneaders. Ambitious home cooks and bakeries appreciate the quality of kneading machines from Bernardi. For home use, three models are suitable: The My Miss Baker for the family, the Miss Baker Pro, and Miss Baker Pro XL for quantities of 4 - 8kg dough.
Here is an overview:
Bernardi My Miss Baker: 0.5 – 1.8kg flour or 0.8 – 3kg dough in a 10l bowl at 250 watts
Bernardi Miss Baker Pro: 0.5 – 1.8kg flour or 0.8 – 4kg dough in a 10l bowl at 500 watts
Bernardi Miss Baker Pro XL: 1 – 3.5kg flour or 1.5 – 8kg dough in a 20l bowl at 500 watts
All three machines can knead flour amounts starting from 500g. They are suitable for yeast doughs, shortcrust doughs, bread doughs, including sourdoughs and focaccia. The My Miss Baker has a 250-watt motor and one kneading speed. Meanwhile, the Miss Baker models have a 500-watt motor and five kneading speeds. Essentially, both machines can knead the same doughs; the My Miss Baker with its single kneading speed might just need a little more time, but the kneading result remains identical. Since the machines are absolutely quiet, it doesn't matter if it kneads a bit longer. The Miss Baker features five speed levels, with Bernardi recommending mainly using kneading speeds 1-3 for typical doughs, and using kneading speeds 4 and 5 sparingly to avoid over-kneading the doughs.
