Pizza Rolls

Pizza Dough Ingredients:

  • 1kg flour
  • 600 ml cold water
  • 3 g dry yeast
  • 25 g salt
Knead into a yeast dough and let it sit at room temperature for an hour. Then place it in the refrigerator overnight. The next morning, take it out and leave the dough in the kitchen at room temperature for about 4-6 hours.

Tomato Sauce Ingredients:

  • Canned tomatoes, e.g., Poplo from Mutti
  • A handful of basil leaves
  • A good splash of olive oil
  • A little salt

Filling Ingredients:

  • Mozzarella
  • Optional: salami, ham, kidney beans

Mix everything and let it infuse a bit. Check out our video on the basil trick and your sauce will be super aromatic.
Once your dough is at room temperature, fire up your oven (wood-fired or household oven). Quarter the dough and roll it out as a large pizza. Spread the tomato sauce, mozzarella, and toppings of your choice on it, roll the dough from one side until you have a long dough roll. Now cut pieces about 5 cm wide and place them cut side down in a baking dish. And now, off into the oven. In the wood-fired oven, it only takes 15 minutes at about 230 degrees for the rolls to be ready; in the household oven, the time may vary.
We wish you a good appetite!
